Rejection grows out of the experience of applying — and being turned down. Through repeated “no”s from open calls, job applications, and grants, I explore how refusal can shift from stagnation to creative energy. Each rejection becomes the starting point for a handmade postcard: a small, intuitive work sent to myself.
This meditative practice transforms disappointment into movement through color, gesture, and text.
