HOMESWEETHOMEANDYOU – The Archive of Leftovers

The project began during a neighbourhood clean-up, when discarded materials — paint, textiles, tiles, frames — revealed quiet stories about everyday life. What started as simple collecting grew into an unofficial archive: a portrait of a community seen through what it leaves behind.

By gathering leftovers from homes and the local recycling station, a shared colour palette and unexpected contrasts emerged, reflecting both collective habits and individual identities. Through painting, textile, and installation, these remnants are transformed into visual and tactile narratives.

HOMESWEETHOMEANDYOU explores how a neighbourhood can be read through its leftovers — and how reuse becomes a form of culture, memory, and connection.
